The vision of this project is to enable centimeter-accurate positioning for pedestrians with a minimal sensor suite of a GPS/GNSS receiver and an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). It is well known that the "vanilla" IMU-aided-GNSS does not provide the accuracy required for precise positioning. Our belief is that a careful implementation of Carrier-Phase Differential GNSS can provide low-cost centimeter-accurate positioning for pedestrians and other mass-market devices. 


Another objective of this project is to develop an augmented-reality heads-up display, enabled by precise vehicle positioning/orientation and driver head tracking.
